Nope, there’s no simple solution for turning Typeform forms into fillable PDF forms or downloading Typeform responses as PDFs.

Typeform does not have a PDF export option. 

It is not possible to export a Typeform response as a PDF file, and there is no button to download a PDF summary of your responses.

You could create a CSV to export your Typeform survey results to Google Drive or Excel, but you cannot make Typeform generate a PDF.

Want to download a Typeform questionnaire as a PDF? You can only do a JSON export and then do some monkey work to convert the form to PDF. Sound complicated? It is. And time-consuming, too. ⌛

But… why?

So why won’t Typeform export data or output files to PDF? 🤷 Some users have speculated that they want to limit the ways you can turn Typeform into PDF because it would make it easy to export data in real-time.

If users could do that, perhaps you could sign up for a Typeform account for a short period, run a survey, and then find your answers in a PDF when needed.

It seems like a long time to us! Nevertheless, this feature has been hotly demanded and strangely absent from Typeform for a long while.

How to make a Typeform-style form in WordPress

Ready to get started? In just a few short steps, you’ll have your Typeform-like form and be able to easily export your results as a PDF.

Step 1: Install and activate the WordPress plugin

If you don't already have a Formidable Forms Pro license, get the WordPress form maker now by clicking the button below! 👇

Once you've picked up a plan, the next step is to install and activate the plugin in WordPress.

Next, go to Formidable → Add-Ons to install the Conversational Forms Add-On.

Great! Now that you’re all set up, creating your form with the visual form builder is time. 

Step 2: Make your form

Pick the form field you want on the left-hand side, then drag and drop it into the editor on the right side of the screen. Easy peasy!

After you’ve added all your fields, click the blue Update button in the upper right corner to save your form.

Step 3: Turn it into a conversational form

Alright, let’s get your form to display question-by-question! Don’t worry; it only takes two clicks.

Go to the Settings tab and select Conversational Forms. Then, toggle the switch to activate it!

Next, you can choose whether to show:

• a start page 🏁,
• arrow button navigation at the bottom of your form ↔️,
• and progress bar 🚥 (with or without text). 

You can also customize the start and continue button texts of your questionnaire.

And that’s it!

Each form field (email address, name, text field, radio buttons, etc.) will display one question per page at a time.

All that’s left is to click the Embed button at the top of the screen to insert your form into one of your WordPress pages or posts.

How to export results to PDF

Once you’ve created your form and started collecting submissions, you can quickly export results to PDF in Formidable.

All you’ll need to do is install the Formidable PDF add-on (Formidable → Add-Ons, ‘PDF’) and then you’re nearly done!

Last thing to do is to go to Formidable → Entries, then click on the entry you want to export and select the PDF download action.
