By following these steps, you can ensure your forms are displayed correctly:
- Enable Formidable Styling. Go to Formidable → Settings and make sure Formidable styling is enabled. Check each individual form's settings to ensure styling is enabled there.
- Check Form Display. Preview your form using the form preview page. Compare it with how the form appears on your website theme to identify any differences.
- Address Styling Issues. If you notice extra space around field labels or required symbols. This can happen because some themes add extra HTML tags, like <p> and <br/>, which WordPress sometimes inserts automatically.
- Fix Extra Spacing. To resolve spacing issues caused by themes, replace [formidable id=x] with [formidable id=x minimize=1] in your shortcode. This change will minimize the form's HTML, preventing themes and plugins from adding unwanted <p> and <br/> tags.
