frm_conf_input_backend

Heads up!
This article contains PHP code and is intended for developers. We offer this code as a courtesy, but don't provide support for code customizations or 3rd party development.

Use this to filter the HTML of the email or password confirmation field input in the form builder. This is useful if you want to modify the HTML of the confirmation field input in the front end and apply that change to the form builder in the back end.

Usage

add_filter('frm_conf_input_backend', 'wrap_email_conf_input', 10, 2);

Formidable Forms makes advanced site building simple. Launch forms, directories, dashboards, and custom WordPress apps faster than ever before.

Parameters

  • input_html (string): HTML of input.
  • args (array): Contains the 'field' (array).

Examples

Wrap email confirmation input

Use this code example to wrap the email confirmation input in a <span> tag.

add_filter('frm_conf_input_backend', 'wrap_email_conf_input', 10, 2);
function wrap_email_conf_input( $input_html, $args ) {
	if ( 'email' === $args['field']['type'] ) {
		$input_html = '<span>' . $input_html . '</span>';
	}
	return $input_html;
}
