Formidable is by far the best forms plugin. I’ve tried many over 15+ years developing WP websites. Whenever I need any sort of form, from simple to complex, on client websites…Formidable is my go to. First-rate support, too.

So far, the software is working great, and support was very quick to respond.

Faced with an issue (related to the population of entries in a dropdown list) in a registration form for a conference taking place in a few weeks, I submitted a support ticket. Within half an hour, I received a response explaining the source of the problem, along with instructions on how to fix it—including the necessary code. Everything worked perfectly. Bravo!

I’ve used Formidable Forms across hundreds of sites over the past 10 years. It’s my go to forms plugin with an excellent set of features and a fantastic support team!

I was working to use two forms, one pulling data from the other, and I was struggling a little. I reached out to the support team and boy was I surprised! I received wonderful help in a timely manner that included step by step instructions, and some options for my project. We went back and forth because I am what some would call a “self-taught” developer. Let’s just say all it took was me missing a “,” to really throw a wrench into the works. The customer support rep was fantastic! I am excited to see what else we can do with Formidable Forms.

Hi,
Many of our visitors are blocked as they cannot validate their entries with SAFARI on MacOS.
Could you please check the behaviour with last releases of Apple SAFARI for MacOS
They send but we do not receive !!!!
OR they cannot send as they are considered as spammer but they are not with firefox for example.
Thanks

Formidable's support is first class. Response are timely and very helpful. We typically have a response within 2-4 hours of submission. Their communications are clear and complete. They do have difficulty with some support requests that require a change the plugin programming - something that is a code error as opposed to operator error.

Quick, relevant responses and the respondent took time to understand the issue rather than trying to give a quick fix.

I used Formidable Forms Pro for a client-facing site and built working forms with Pro fields, including sections. When my license expired, those existing forms became partially uneditable. Not “no new features” – I lost the ability to edit what I had already built and paid for.
To be fair: front-end forms keep submitting, and the knowledge base does state you lose access to Pro features while expired. So this is technically documented.
My problem is where it’s documented. The pricing page – the page you actually read before buying – says renewal is required for continued access to support, plugin updates, and new add-ons. Nothing about losing the ability to edit forms you already made. Two different messages in two places, and the softer one sits where the purchase decision happens.
I understand paying for updates and support. That’s normal and fair. Locking editing access to work already completed under a valid license is a different thing, and it should be stated plainly on the pricing page rather than buried in a FAQ.
Practical consequences for me: I won’t be renewing, I’ve stopped recommending the plugin to clients, and I’m migrating existing sites to an alternative. The plugin itself is capable and well built – that’s what makes this policy frustrating rather than merely disappointing.
If you’re evaluating Formidable, budget for permanent yearly renewal, not a one-time purchase. Whatever you build, you keep the ability to run it, not to change it.
