Datepicker Options v3.1

Last updated on September 9, 2026 by Mike

  • New: Date ranges and other datepicker settings are now handled by this add-on wherever possible instead of relying on Pro, improving compatibility with both older and newer versions of Pro. These apply when the Date Picker Library setting in Global Settings is set to Flatpickr, which is also the only library that supports date ranges.
  • Fix: Flatpickr would hand phones the browser's own date input, which silently dropped every day of the week, blackout date and excepted date restriction, along with date ranges. The calendar is now used on mobile as well.
  • Fix: Excepted dates would not override blacked out dates in Flatpickr, and the day of the week setting would be ignored when picking the date the calendar opens on.
  • Fix: The two fields in a date range would lose track of each other when a form was duplicated or imported.
  • Fix: Deleting one half of a date range would leave the other field still configured as part of a range. The range settings are now cleared from the field that remains, along with the label and half width layout that were applied when the pair was created.
  • Fix: Selecting a date range could record a partial or incorrect date when the selection was canceled partway through, or when a date was chosen from the end date field.
  • Fix: Turning the date range setting off would leave the start and end dates synced to each other.
  • Fix: Date fields inside a repeater could submit a date in the display format instead of the saved format when using Flatpickr.
  • Fix: The wrong Flatpickr configuration would get applied when a datepicker was updated after it had already been set up.
  • Fix: An Uncaught TypeError: input._flatpickr.getDate is not a function JavaScript error would occur.
  • Fix: Locales without a Flatpickr localization file would request a file that does not exist, logging a 404 and a MIME type error on every page with a date field.
  • Fix: A script was enqueued with dependencies that are not registered notice would appear in the form builder for every date field set to a locale other than English.
  • Fix: A Cannot declare class error could occur when the add-on updater was loaded twice.
  • Fix: The more options icon in the date calculation settings could not be reached with the keyboard, and appeared in the wrong tab order.
