Formidable Forms Word Cloud

Clean. Money maker. Fortune saver. Makes me look good. These were some of the words and phrases Formidable users entered into our Word Cloud last month. In all, 1164 separate words or phrases were submitted.

Lately the Formidable team has been sorting through words to find just the right ones to describe Formidable Forms. We realized that dictionaries, thesauruses and keywords didn’t possess the key to the Formidable word kingdom.

That key belonged to Formidable users.

We turned to our users to tell us what Formidable Forms is and what it is to them. And because it was a question of words, that task fell to me.

I’m the non-geek on the Formidable Forms team. I’m the only person on the team who doesn’t know how to read or write code at some level. My primary wheelhouse is words. Not code.

I work with words all day. I search them, draft them, edit them, post them, cut them, paste them; I change their font, their color. I type them, spin them around, spellcheck them and many times throw the wrong words away.

None of what I do on a daily basis prepared me for the experience of handling the Formidable Forms Word Cloud campaign.

The results were breathtaking.

Form-o-rama. Formalicous. ForMEdable. Our users came up with an astonishing array of creative words to describe Formidable Forms. Three people actually used supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Each one of them spelled it correctly. One user even improvised it to supercaliFORMilisticexpialidocious. We had words submitted from several other languages. There were even words that were great compliments to the plugin but are unfortunately unprintable here. 😉

Three words rose to the top of the cloud in frequency. And while they aren't the most creative words submitted, they describe Formidable Forms perfectly. They are:
Flexible.
Powerful.
Easy.

The Formidable user family is one spellbindingly creative, word-savvy bunch.

While my primary wheelhouse is words, my secondary wheelhouse is psychology. This boils down to why and when to use the words we use. When it came down to the psychology behind our Word Cloud, the results were even more profound.

Not only did Formidable users respond wholeheartedly, they often did not stop with 3 words or phrases.

Many submitted as many as five to ten words describing Formidable Forms.

Think about the last time you described anything in one sitting with three or more adjectives.

That, my friends, is passion. Formidable Forms users are passionate about this tool. One user even dubbed Formidable Forms his or her “fortune saver.” Hmmmm. We can only wonder whose fortune was saved by using or creating with or for Formidable Forms. And the backstory behind that!
