For us, pricing is more about our people (you!) than it is about pennies. We last introduced a pricing change in January 2016. We've been listening since then, and you've taught us a thing or two.
Don't underestimate the need for support
Our pricing change in January meant we were offering a plugin license that didn't include support. We intended for this license to be used for developers building client sites, and the rest of the 60% that doesn't use support. We reduced the price on that Starter plan by not including support. However, many new users on that plan tended to need our help. When contacting us, Starter plan folks were immediately asked to upgrade. Not great when you are asked to pay in the moment of need.
Frankly, we underestimated your need for support. We didn't expect so many site owners to purchase that Starter plan. Good applicable life lesson here:

Our good intentions to lower prices didn't work out the way we had planned. We apologize to you if you purchased this plan and were upset or inconvenienced by the support policy that came along with it.
Our goal has never been to bring the cheapest plugin to market. In fact, we are certain that Formidable Forms is the most dynamic, flexible, developer-friendly form building and data management plugin around. Our goal is to bring you that, with the full force of our team support behind it.
We've been listening to you. We've been rooting for you. This has led us to make some positive changes to our plans. We are no longer offering a plan without support. Those who did purchase that Starter plan can now upgrade to a Personal plan that includes support for $15. Enterprise users shouldn't have caps
We also learned more about our Enterprise users. Even though you typically don't reach the limits and caps, you don't want them. The 200-site cap has been abolished, for both past and future accounts. With an unlimited license comes great responsibility; you'll still need to be connected to each site under your license. Any license being resold or distributed will be revoked.
Keep the account terms simple
There has been a lot of confusion surrounding our support and update terms. We have simplified this by linking the updates to the support. All plans now include one year of updates along with one year of support for new purchases.
