Can IP addresses be tracked here?
Yep, IP addresses are tracked in forms by default. This gives you rough location info, so a survey could be narrowed down to an individual. For example, our team is worldwide, so an IP address would tell us who filled out the survey.
so if I understand this article correctly, if I check the box to NOT track IP's and I don't ask my users to submit any personal information, then I can safely say that I am not storing any User data? You are correct. We don't store or have access the form submissions. all form data is saved/stored on your own server/database. If you aren't collecting personal information and aren't tracking IPs, there should be nothing to link an entry to a specific person so anonymity should be preserved.
