This help desk is no longer actively support. We have switched to a ticketing system to more smoothly manage support, and free up development time. Your newly created tickets won't be available here. You will instead have an email history of your new tickets.

We are working on moving everything current and helpful from public tickets into the docs. This will be a long process and in the meantime, public tickets will remain searchable.

Your private tickets will remain available to you indefinitely. See your old tickets.

I need to create a form where a Customer is created, then add contacts to that customer and then email the content to Customer Service to enter into a system.

A typical new Customer would have 4 or more contacts.  How do I create a form for that?  Basically, a main for with child records attached.

This can be done by setting up a comment type of relationship. Here are instructions on this:

Let me know if you have questions on this.

Is there a better way to do this with the latest version of Formidable Forms?
am currently at 3.01.02

To review, need a main form with child records to associate to it.

Basically, entering a new customer with child records of multiple contacts.

The instructions linked to above are still accurate. Have you followed the steps there?

I utilized a field type of Repeater and it works great for what I needed.

I dont know if that is a recent added feature, or I just missed it.

That works too. Glad that option will work for your needs. Repeating fields were added back in 2.0, but since 3.0 they have ben easier to find.
